David Emond: Bryon’s Pool on a Cold December Afternoon

DAVID EMOND has lived by the River Cam for the last 30 years and it is a constant source for his work. This is the first time that David has exhibited his pastels and watercolour works. All the works selected have been painted in winter when David captures the quality of the twilight on the river and mist on the commons. David says “I love the river and its environment in all weather conditions and all seasons. It is a line that runs through our lives. The light and the colours of winter are constantly changing and a focus for my pastels, watercolours and charcoal drawings.”
