Veta Gorner: Gilded Butterflies XL

About the artist:

Veta Gorner is a multidisciplinary artist, who lives and works in Stamford. She graduated in Design and Architecture and has worked in graphic design, illustration and art-directing for publishing and advertising. Her work is a celebration of life and a reflection upon its high and lows, and tensions in between. It is concerned with the thoughts and emotions that move us into action. Gorner says “A print is an attempt to make sense of the world, to capture the energy and reasons that excite us. A great print is both a technical riddle and an aesthetic wonder. It is an evanescent poem shaped into a tangible form.”

Gorner is a Fellow of the Royal Society of Painter-Printmakers.
